You are a Sikh charity, what is that?
Sikhs are an ethno-religious community that was founded over five hundred years ago by Guru Nanak, the first of the ten Sikh gurus, in the Punjab region of the Indian subcontinent. You can generally identify us by our distinctive turbans, which we were proudly, as a mark of respect to god.
We make up only a small portion of the Australian population, however, we are proud to share our values and strong focus on justice and equality with all Australian’s through our selfless charitable work and service to our community.
